Welcome to my mouse reviews!
I hope to use my current knowledge of mouse to help guide you choosing your next main mouse.
However, before you read any of my reviews, please spend a few minutes reading this disclaimer first so you have some idea on what to expect from them.
First and foremost, I am writing the review from my experience. As there are way too many factors affecting my experience to a mouse, I have to list my basic mouse info first.
Grip style: Aggressive claw
Hand size: 20cm x 10.5cm
You can keep this info in mind, if you find yourself having the same hand size and grip style as mine, it is likely that you are looking for the mouse that I like. If you do not share the same measurements with me, you can still proceed as I will try my best to write the review from different point of views.
Secondly, I will not give a clear verdict on whether a mouse is good or bad. I will approach a mouse from its build quality, size, shape, weight, texture etc. and come out with a conclusion on which kind of people will like the mouse. I will also try to evaluate the worthiness of the mouse with its price.
Finally, although I try to be as objective as possible when it comes to reviewing a mouse, my comments/opinions/descriptions will not be 100% accurate as it varies from person to person on how they see a mouse. Take my review as with a grain of salt and seek for different reviewers to have a combined outcome so you can decide for yourself more accurately. The best way of using my reviews is to narrow down your list of choices and try them in an actual store if possible.
Going forward, I feel the need to answer some generally asked questions about gaming mice.
Q: Does lower weight means better?
A: Not necessarily. while having lower weight means a mouse can glide faster and cost less stamina in a wrong run, blindly chasing for light weight would not be a smart choice. I prioritize the shape of a more than the weight.
Q: Does the specs of a mouse matter?
A: It does matter, but I do not think it makes a huge different for example if you compare a mouse with a 3370 sensor and a mouse with a 3395 sensor. 3395 of course would give you a more precise experience during your gaming sessions, but the difference is not as big as you think. If I find a shape that fits my hand like a glove, I would definitely sacrifice a tiny bit of precision/latency for the best fit.
Q: Is DPI deviation a big deal?
A: No. You can always adjust your in game sensitivity if you feel like the DPI is deviated. It is not a big deal.
